A Sketch #57 and a Color Layout

Today's card is doing double duty again. My sketch is from Tamara, and my color combination of blue, green and pink is from Stamp Something.

I used SU Paper and Ink
not quite navy
sage shadow
regal rose

SU stamp sets
Garden Silhouettes
Doodle This
True Friend

Embossing is from Cuttlebug, and swirl was cut with Cuttlebug, but from another company.
Ribbon and stones from local craft store.
3-D tape used on flower so it is lifted from the paper.

Thanks for stopping by.

featuring food and a rick rack cut edge

My card fits two challenges--CPS #76, part three and Daring Cardmakers.

This card is a little lame. Daring Cardmakers wanted some type of food that reminded us of summer. I do not have any food stamps, so I used a photo from one of my programs. We celebrated lots of summer birthdays, and ate lots of cake, so the picture was appropriate.

The bottom of the card is simply cut with pinking shears to try to imitate the look that CPS asks for. The "diamonds" are a bit overwhelming, and without any stamping on it, I feel like I'm cheating. The papers are all from my scrap box.

Thanks for stopping by.

Want to make a book?

I have had several people ask me about making one of these books. I finally did a series of instructions. If you go here it is all laid out. I hope you can follow my instructions. Email me if you have any questions at all. Have fun!!
